These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Checkout Risk website and services (“Service”), operated by Checkout Risk (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Checkout Risk provides fully automated digital analysis services for Shopify stores, with a primary focus on the U.S. market, including:
Checkout Risk Snapshot – an automated, non-invasive snapshot that analyzes publicly accessible checkout paths and flags observable technical and UX risk signals, producing an OK / WARNING / CRITICAL status.
Deep Dive – an optional, automated extended analysis that builds on the Snapshot by running additional system-level checks and deeper automated evaluations under defined test conditions.
Both the Snapshot and the Deep Dive:
are generated automatically by software systems
do not involve manual or human analysis
analyze publicly accessible pages only
are intended to function as decision-support signals, not diagnoses
The Deep Dive is not required following any Snapshot result and may not be applicable to all situations.
A Snapshot status of OK, WARNING, or CRITICAL does not obligate the user to purchase additional services, and any further analysis remains entirely at the user’s discretion.
The Services do not:
perform CRO audits, consulting, or redesigns
guarantee performance, conversion, or revenue improvements
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
3. No Store Access or Modification
We do not require access credentials to your Shopify store
We do not collect customer, order, or payment data from your store
We do not make changes to your store
All snapshots are performed under defined, non-invasive test conditions.
4. Payments
The snapshot is a one-time purchase
Prices are displayed before checkout
Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or Wise
We do not store or process payment card or banking details.
5. No Guarantees
The Service provides informational and observational outputs only.
We make no guarantees regarding:
conversion rates
revenue
checkout performance
business outcomes
You acknowledge that any decisions made based on the snapshot are made at your own discretion and risk.
This applies equally to both the Snapshot and the Deep Dive services.
6. Refund Policy
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property
All content, reports, outputs, and materials provided through the Service are the property of Checkout Risk.
You may use snapshot results for internal business purposes only.
You may not:
resell the Service
redistribute reports publicly
represent the snapshot as your own product
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
misuse or abuse the Service
attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the snapshot process
submit URLs you do not have authority to analyze
use the Service for unlawful or deceptive purposes
We reserve the right to restrict or deny access for abuse or misuse.
9. Affiliate Program
Participation in the affiliate program is governed by separate affiliate terms.
We reserve the right to:
approve or reject affiliate applications
modify commission structures
terminate affiliate participation for misrepresentation or abuse
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Checkout Risk shall not be liable for:
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
actions taken based on snapshot results
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the snapshot.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:
merchantability
fitness for a particular purpose
uninterrupted or error-free operation
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for:
violation of these Terms
abuse or misuse of the Service
legal or compliance reasons
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes take effect upon posting with an updated “Last updated” date.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
